My experience

Transferable Skills and Strengths

Communication

Mentoring, customer service positions, and public speeches all help to improve communication skills. My ability to communicate coherently with a wide range of audiences has proven invaluable in both the classroom and the workplace.

Teamwork

I have worked on university group projects, supported team-based service delivery in hospitality, and taught in educational settings, all of which value joint effort and respect.

Problem Solving

In event planning, customer service, and coaching, I used critical thinking to manage problems, enhance systems, and make solid judgments under pressure.

Global Awareness

My multicultural upbringing and travel experiences have refined my cross-cultural sensitivity, which is an invaluable advantage in the globalised events industry (Deardorff 2006).

Digital Competency

I am fluent in the Microsoft Office Suite, social media tools, and digital presentation platforms — all of which are essential for preparing and advertising modern events.

Professional Values

Professional Values My values are based on inclusivity, honesty, and creativity. Cultural events, in my opinion, should be accessible and reflect a varied range of perspectives. My voluntary work and scholarly interests centre on how events may promote social cohesion and advocacy. Ethical leadership also plays an important part in my decision-making. I seek to lead with honesty and consistency, drawing on genuine leadership theory ((Abson et al, 2021; Avolio & Gardner, 2005), which promotes self-awareness and open ideals. I enjoy lifelong learning and am always seeking new information, demonstrating a growth mindset (Dweck, 2006). Whether via formal education or firsthand experience, I am dedicated to personal and professional development.
